We have completed a 90-day field trial of our 5G industrial router line at a container terminal in East China, covering 42 routers across cranes, AGVs and gate gates.
Results
- 99.97% link availability across the trial window
- Median latency of 18 ms to the on-prem edge core
- Zero hardware failures; two SIM-holder reseats during typhoon weather
What we changed
The trial drove three firmware improvements: faster NTN fallback, watchdog-based APN recovery, and a hardened dual-SIM switching policy now standard in v2.4 firmware.
